Darrington Golf Club Wedding Photography
As we enjoyed our cornflakes before driving to South Yorkshire, the forecast was for a hot day, and they were right, only 8 am and it’s already pushing 22 degrees. Today we’re at the Mid Yorkshire Golf Club near Darrington for the wedding of Alex and Laura.
This was our first wedding here and as always it’s great to photograph a wedding at a new venue. Following the Bridal preparations back at Laura’s home, we took the short drive to Darrington Golf Club where Brenda and I were warmly greeted by Michael, the very friendly co-ordinator for the day who later proved there was nothing too much trouble, he and the team were brilliant.
After the ceremony we quickly completed the family photos when Michael invited Laura, Alex and ourselves to have a drive onto the golf course in two golf buggies to get some photos by the lake and surrounding countryside. On the way back I loved the look of the tunnel under the road so we decided to have a few photos there before joining the rest of the party and the evening celebrations and tasty hog roast.
