Oakwell Hall near to Birstall and Batley, boasts a beautiful venue for your perfect wedding day and forms an ideal backdrop for your photography.

Set in 110 acres of green flag country gardens, Oakwell Hall is a grade 1 listed Elizabethan Manor House, and furnished as a family home of the late 17th century, truly a place of wonderful character.

The Great Hall

Wedding ceremonies take place in the oak panelled Great Hall on the ground floor of the House.

The Great Hall will comfortably hold 50 guests for your ceremony, following the ceremony the rooms are available for your wedding photography (only Bride, Groom and Photographer allowed in the rooms due to the nature of the furniture) and the beautifully restored walled garden.

The Barn

Oakwell Barn is a restored rustic 19th Century barn and is Grade II Listed, ideally located in the Visitor Centre to the side of Oakwell Hall. The barn offers all the rustic charm and a vintage wedding atmosphere, perfect if this is the style of your wedding.
